This is the diary of Ann who, in 2008 is walking to Rome and then on to Assisi.
After that, in 2009 she might be walking to Jerusalem but who knows, there's many a slip!

Assisi Diary Post 9: 09/07/2008, Pictures
Assisi Post 9 Just photos of the pilgrimage from 01/07/2008, leaving Etalans to Grand St Bernard Pass - as promised!
Great photos Annie - you must be well into the Aosta Valley by now. Heard today that Santiago and Assisi will be twinned - Ceremony on Wednesday. There is also talk of creating a pilgrimage route between the 2 cities, and also an air link. It is St James' Feast Day today - I'll have a piece of Tarta de Santiago for you tomorrow at our St James get -together!! Keep war, stay safe, happy walking. Sil
